Main Street has always been one of my favorite places. It’s where every storefront has a story, where neighbors stop to visit on the sidewalk, and where businesses become part of the community simply by doing good work, day after day.

That’s the spirit behind The Main Street Website Company.

Every business begins with an idea. Sometimes it’s a lifelong dream, sometimes it’s a family tradition, and sometimes it’s simply someone deciding the time has come to hang out a shingle and see what tomorrow brings.

The Front Porch is always open if you’d like to stay awhile. You’ll find a few stories there, along with thoughts about small-town life, good design, and the kinds of businesses that make a community feel like home. There isn’t any hurry. I believe building a website should feel much the same as walking down a welcoming Main Street on a pleasant afternoon. Every shop has its own personality. Every window offers something different. Every open door is an invitation.
